Just in time for the dog days of summer, Blue Bell has launched a new Oatmeal Cream Pie ice cream that is sure to perk you up, no matter what the weather.
Blue Bell's new Oatmeal Cream Pie ice cream is a limited-edition flavor created just for summer. The new pint combines oatmeal-flavored ice cream with a touch of brown sugar, as well as soft oatmeal cookie pieces and a vanilla icing swirl. The flavor is actually inspired by the classic Little Debbie treat, Oatmeal Cream Pie. As Jimmy Lawhorn, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Blue Bell explains, "We have taken all of the best parts of an oatmeal cream pie and combined it with our ice cream... It is just like eating a homemade oatmeal cream pie, but in ice cream form."
