Take, for example, this unusual lamp design. ‘WTF, Not What I Thought’ is a lamp that surprises you when you turn it on. Instead of illuminating from under the shade as most light fixtures in this shape do, the lamp lights up its stand.

It’s a cool way to challenge the logic of design and defy the norm in your home decor.
