Northern Lights Timelapse + Flickr Photos (VIDEO)

The Northern Lights are one of the most amazing natural phenomenons. Even though NASA just released a scientific explanation for aurora borealis to try to strip us of awe, there’s no denying they truly are galactic works of art.

This gallery highlights some of the most stellar shots taken of the Northern Lights by Flickr members. The time lapse video is incredible too, and well worth watching to the end!

I’ve been fortunate enough to see themselves, although never as dramatically as in these photographs. I would go to the Yukon just to see this!

Whether you attribute the phenomenon to scientific reasons, or as an act of God, this gallery allows anyone to appreciate the aesthetic uber wonder that the Northern Lights truly are!
