It appears that Nokia is getting ready to launch a line of new handheld gaming devices in early 2007. The company made the announcement and released set of tools for developers to make new games.
Implications - Gadget-producing companies are beginning to realize how important is to incorporate portability, convenience and discreteness into their tech designs. Today's consumer doesn't have the time or the ability to cart around bulky devices wherever they go, and as such handy tools like this are a vastly preferred alternative. A personal gaming device is a luxury that most consumers can't afford to have on them whenever necessary, so in order to be more appealing, devices such as this need to be as practical as possible.
