Nikoo Bafti Captures Smokey Candids from Her Daily Life

As much as crisp and clean photography is appreciated, many photographers have gone down a more organic road of light leaks and out-of-focus shots; yet Nikoo Bafti takes it to another level. Instead of purposely imbuing a vintage effect in each of her images, Nikoo Bafti uses her mom's old SLR, which is held together by masking tape, in order capture these candidly lo-fi images.

Based in the United Kingdom, Nikoo Bafti's photography portfolio seems to have a permanent smokey haze of it. Having fallen into the art of photography quite by accident, her style seems extremely appropriate to her lifestyle. Nikoo Bafti simply captures her daily life s it unfolds. She also illustrates and paints.
