Nereus, a jet-ski style watercraft designed by Mathias Koehler uses the wind to derive hours of fuel-free fun. The craft can travel both above as well as under water. It makes use of foot pedals to steer and a set of pivoting fins at the base, controlled by the hand grips which are activated in the underwater dive. It’s much like sailing and jet skiing combined.

Implications - Consumers are attracted to representations of the future from TV and Film; they are eager for new futuristic forms to emerge. Companies should consider breaking the mould and creating new forms that bare a resemblance to the future depicted through popular media to find success.

Looks cool, but I don't get it. How does the wind power that thing? And wind powered underwater thingy ... There's something missing here.

in the underwater image it looks like it might be tied to a kite? if you look close there are strings the lead up, but no actual connection to a kite is shown...

ah, it had to be something. It just wasn't making sense. In that case, this is just brilliant :)
