Nereus, a jet-ski style watercraft designed by Mathias Koehler uses the wind to derive hours of fuel-free fun. The craft can travel both above as well as under water. It makes use of foot pedals to steer and a set of pivoting fins at the base, controlled by the hand grips which are activated in the underwater dive. It's much like sailing and jet skiing combined.

Implications - Consumers are attracted to representations of the future from TV and Film; they are eager for new futuristic forms to emerge. Companies should consider breaking the mould and creating new forms that bare a resemblance to the future depicted through popular media to find success.
