Thanks to Howard Elkus, from the Boston firm Elkus Manfredi Architects, the Boston Neiman Marcus, along with 40 other outlets will all be ‘wrapped in silk’. The inspiration for this amazing display came for a dress the architect designer for his wife.
“The secret is in the subtle change of colors and the way that they are merged together, creating the breezy look of a silk skirt. Apparently it’s modeled on a particular dress, one that the architect Howard Elkus of Boston firm Elkus Manfredi once designed for his wife to wear to a music festival in England.” An amazing mixture of architecture and fashion!
