NASA Prepares for Mars Launch From Moon

Pack your bags we are going to Mars! Hey, it’s not a joke because NASA plans to build a solar-powered base on the moon and use it as a launch point for missions to Mars.
After the initial trips, astronauts will take 180-day missions to prepare for longer voyages to Mars. In fact, researchers have showed that Mars has flowing water on its surface, and that significantly increased the possibility of life on the planet.
"With such an outpost, NASA can learn to use the moon's natural resources to live off the land, make preparations for a journey to Mars, conduct a wide range of scientific investigations and encourage international participation,'' NASA said in the statement.
