Tattoos come in many forms, and musical-inspired tattoos are ones that ring particularly true for me. I just had one pictured above, ‘Love will tear us apart,’ for my Dad, Martin (RIP) and Charley.

I chose lyrics that basically sum up my life, but others have chosen images from Depeche Mode album covers to The Beatles and even Kurt Cobain’s face. These band tattoos are an excellent way to give a permanent tribute to a favorite musical hero.
