Combining Earth awareness and furniture design, Katharina Mischer created the Fungi shelf as part of the RealLimited Series, which is used to point out the realities of nature.

The mushroom shelf design by Katharina Mischer brings awareness to the endangered Austrian fungi species, with each tin mushroom on the shelf representing one remaining in nature. While the tin mushroom on a rotten wood board shelf idea may not be for everyone, it’s cool to see eath-awareness and home design coming together in some way.
