A new multi-media exhibition is on display at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival. Having launched on July 2nd, this exhibit will last until September 18th.
The multi-media exhibition is named In the Eddy of the Stream and it explores the importance of the non-human organisms we share the planet with. The event was conceived in collaboration between Turner Prize-nominated art duo Cooking Sections and Palestinian research collective Sakiya who present "a range of work from research-heavy installations to live performances" across six galleries.
A great focus of the multi-media exhibition is highlighting how plants and non-sentient animals "have been threatened by the complex histories of land ownership in Scotland and Palestine."
