Mullit by Yonoh for Sancal Designs Introduces Comfortable Chairs

Designers Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma from the multitalented creative studio Yonoh created the Mullit chairs. The idea to craft the seating furniture stemmed from the simple concept of creating a "cushion with legs." The Mullit chairs are a result of this idea, delivering a simplistic and functional design for Sancal, whilst also giving thought-out details as well. The team ensured that the chair blends both aesthetic and comfort -- to do so, they infused the comfort of sitting on a cushion to the craft of a chair that maintains its ergonomic necessities. Yonoh expresses that to achieve the balance, there was a lot of exploration of volumes and weights.
To further emphasize the fluffy cushion comfort, there are some light ruffle details added to the rear to give it a visual accent resembling traditional scatter cushioning. The leg options include toothpick-like wooden legs, electrolytic plated legs or simplistic metal legs.
