The world's first indoor movie theme park has been built. Dubbed the Wanda Movie Park and nicknamed The Golden Bells, it is located in Wuhan, China. An impressive experience, to say the very least, the movie theme park is a multi-dimensional and multi-sensory, housing six film-related ‘ride’ attractions that includes 4D and 5D cinema screens, flight theatre, immersive and interactive live performances and a space theatre.

Designed by Stufish Entertainment Architects for Dalian Wanda Group, the indoor movie theme park is a $690 million project the exterior is just as noteworthy as what lies within. The building was inspired by a 2,000-year-old local relic called Wuhan Bianzhong bells, a cultural artifact from the Han Dynasty. It is made out of gold aluminum panels as tribute to this historical influence, which also lends a theatrical appeal to the site.
