The Philips LightFrame for SAD|
Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a mood disorder whose sufferers get deeply depressed in the winter. It is believed that light has something to do with this disorder. This belief was the reason for the new Philips LightFrame computer monitor. The monitor is equipped with blue lights around the screen that can be turned on with the push of a button - the light from which can help alleviate the symptoms of SAD.
