The Premium Clubhouse of the Autostadt Volkswagen Group theme park in Wolfsburg, Germany just got its crown jewel—an outstanding mirror-finish Bugatti Veyron designed by Olaf Nicolai. The mirror-finish Bugatti Veyron sits in a room filled with mirrors, reflecting visitors’ images endlessly for a dizzying but spectacular piece of artwork. Olaf Nicolai’s Bugatti Veyron was introduced into the Autostadt to mark the opening of the Premium Clubhouse, a section of the Autostadt that focuses on luxury and high-end automotive innovation. The mirror-finish art car is the highlight of the exhibit. Check out some of the Autostadt’s other exhibits in the video above.  With the Veyron, Nicolai has attempted to showcase the technical intricacies of the supercar by using its flat planes to allow the observer to see themself reflected back ad infinitum from the mirrors. “A phenomenon of endless play-back in which both the boundaries of the space and the boundary between object and observer are blurred,” he explained.
