Between two layers of silicone hydrogel is a highly reflective coating that makes these mirror contact lenses unique. Huangyu Chen designed these mirror contact lenses with the intention of making it more difficult to insert them incorrectly. The really shiny side of the convex objects should always be facing outwards, or else you know that they're inside-out. Made similarly to sunglasses material, this part of the delicate eyewear can do its part to keep your peepers safe from the damage of solar UV rays.
