Michelle Obama made it clear that she doesn’t spend contributors’ money on her wardrobe, a comment referencing Sarah Palin’s $150,000 fall wardrobe. Appearing on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,’ Michell Obama wanted to talk fashion. Leno guessed Michelle Obama spent about $60,000 on her wardrobe. She pointed out that she was wearing an ensemble from J. Crew. Michelle Obama wore a bright yellow sweater, skirt, and blouse. She added that she is excellent at finding good fashion online.  "A V.P. pick, it's like being shot out of a cannon. All of a sudden you're at the center of attention, and you want to look good," said Michelle Obama, adding she has never met Palin. "You're living in your home, minding your business, and all of a sudden you're on the national stage and everyone's watching."
