The quintessential Mexican street food is tacos and they're often enjoyed with a protein filling topped with veggies and cheese inside a corn tortilla. However this innovative recipe turns the popular meal into a pasta recreating all the popular staple flavors in new forms with unusual textures.

This taco pasta begins with a sauce inspired by the taco meat to create a aromatic sauce made from ground turkey, spicy seasoning and salsa with the infusion of creamy sour cream. The sauce is poured onto black bean spaghetti noodles and then topped with shredded lettuce, red cabbage, a Mexican cheese blend and chopped tomatoes. While all the classic taco ingredients are featured in this pasta, they are presented in new and experimental forms offering foodies a new way to enjoy a classic meal.
