Google has launched Messages for Japan, a new website designed to let people from around the world write a message of support to Japan in their own language. The site lets you write, read, and track messages from anywhere in the world using the magic of Google Maps and Google Translate.

Messages for Japan lets you write your message in your own language, which it then translates into Japanese. So far, 10,685 messages have been written from all corners of the six inhabited countries. It is great to see Google using its power for something good. Messages for Japan is great because it lets people who can't donate their money donate their kind words where everyone in Japan can see them.
