Living with a loved one who has dementia is an eye-opening experience, and one that Suk Yi Yee explores in ‘Dementia.’ This diorama-style photo set explores the stages of memory loss as people age, from simple forgetfulness to confusion, hysteria and delusion.

As Suk Yi Yee’s ‘Dementia’ photo set progresses, we can see the effects of these mental disorders. The hands in some of the photos remind me of the superhuman grip that dementia has on its sufferer.
