Pop icon Melanie Martinez has debuted a new collaboration with Koi Footwear. Martinez's subversive style, centered on pastel hues and the flair of old children's dolls, toys, and pop culture, is heavily included in the vegan leather line, inspired by the artists’ music and lyrics.
Koi's ‘Tira Mary Jane’ heels, which have a round toe, a single buckled strap, and thick, softly ridged platform soles, were given a makeover by Martinez for the collection. The ‘Melanie Alphabet Edition’ shoes boast pink soles and light blue uppers with a pink alphabet print. In contrast, the ‘Melanie Sweetheart’ sister pair features ruffled tulle trim for a vintage twist, yellowed cream soles, and straps on top of soft pink heart-printed uppers.
