The Mazda Tanken Grabs the Environment by the Roots

The Mazda Tanken is a hybrid vehicle that is powered by two batteries to run its electric motor. People are beginning to move away from the SUV mainly because of the high fuel consumption and harmful environmental impact. Designers (like the ones of the Mazda Tanken) are starting to take notice of this and develop eco-friendly vehicles that have a similar aesthetic as their gas-guzzling cousins.

The Mazda Tanken looks like it gobbles up about four gallons per block, yet it is one of the greenest concepts out there.

It seems to be becoming a growing trend where enviro-conscious autos are beginning to look more like real cars and not so much like go karts. Stats for Military-Ready Sedans Trending: Older & Warm
