“Drawdio” is a coined word which, according to the video above, combines ‘draw’ and ‘audio.’ Actually, I thought it combined ‘draw’ and ‘radio.’ Ah well. It’s a pencil created by Adafruit and Jay Silver that has an embedded radio to let the wearer draw and create sounds as they write. I suppose LeadPod or iPencil would be a trademark infringement.
The gadget makes sounds by completing a circuit your body creates via the lead in your pencil. If you hold hands with someone, you can make beautiful music together—maybe. Check out the video to see what that music might sound like.
