A Group of Designers Come up with the new Majung Smart Display

A group of designers has come together to formulate the design concept that is Majung, which is a smart display that also functions as a doorway. The idea came to fruition with inspiration from the idea of "Cha-gyeong" which means "borrowing a scene" that is often referenced in traditional Korean hanok houses.
It has a sliding display that is made for doorways as a way to reinvigorate one's living space. The Majung is a display appliance concept that is made up of a clear tall screen that is able to slide in and out from a slatted base without the need for rolled screens. When the Majung is retracted, it is able to unveil a message or short information such as time or weather.
