A South Carolina Mom Creates a Simple Mac and Cheese Hack for Kids

Violet Ann Whitlach, a South Carolina mom, recently shared a new time and money-saving mac and cheese hack for parents who need a quick meal on the fly. Whitlach stated that her favorite brand of mac and cheese is an expensive one that frequently goes to waste since her daughter never consumes the entire box. In order to be able to serve her daughter tiny servings whenever she is hungry, Whitlach now purchases the family-sized box, which she then divides into cubes and freezes.
Whitlach's daughter's favorite is Stouffer's Mac & Cheese, which is $8 a box. "I got tired of baking it and then it going bad before it’s finished, especially cause it’s not cheap," Whitlach explained. Now, when Whitlach's daughter is hungry, the mom pops out a mac and cheese cube and microwaves it until it is hot and ready.
