Magniflex is an Italian mattress company. They offer a wide range of shapes and sizes of mattresses - including one that is threaded with 22-karat gold ($24,000 - $30,000). It’s no surprise that this product didn’t sell very well. But maybe they were targeting the wrong customers? It seems the company is now going to market this product for DOGS!  “Mainly, it came from some customer request,” Mr. Magni said, in charmingly eviscerated English, though not so charming that one would place an order. “I am sure that in certain cases, people that maybe have a lot of contact with his dog, they don’t miss nothing the rest of their life, they want to offer him the same level of life. Gold, for sure, is the place in terms of mites. It doesn’t allow any bacteria or — what is the word? — parasites.”
