In today's filter-heavy days where people can turn themselves into pretty much anything they desire, Luciana Rondolini's artworks stand out all the more -- specifically her Tiffany series. In it, she explores the division between appearance and reality by encrusting rotten fruit with sparkling diamonds. It's almost incredible to see how these browning produce are given a second chance at life thanks to the jewels.

Luciana Rondolini was inspired by a famous quote in Shakespeare's Hamlet, "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." Using rotting bananas, apples, oranges, and more, Luciana Rondolini shows that the exterior can often hide a dubious interior, whether in the case of fruits or even people. It's important to be perceptive.
