 Louboutin & Lynch Exhibit At what point does looking at pictures of naked women wearing the most impractical shoes imaginable become a perversion, rather than an admiration of art? David Lynch’s beautifully shot photographs leaves me in awe of his talent, yet have me questioning my own uncomfortable pair of Louboutins - and they’re not half as extreme as the ones in this gallery! With patent and fetish themes already in featured in mainstream fashion, will anything shock us any more?  In one of the more imaginative collaborations we’ve seen of late, Christian Louboutin and David Lynch have locked heads and created a show, Fetish, which opens today in Paris in Pierre Passebon’s Galerie du Passage. The exhibition shows five limited edition pairs of shoes by Louboutin alongside five signed photographs of the shoes by Lynch. As if Louboutin’s day-to-day footwear weren’t fetishistic enough, the pair together has taken the theme to an entirely new level.
