Porn For The Blind - Naughty Reading for the Visually Impaired

I never stopped to consider how the visually impaired surfed the Internet. But what about porn? Do the braille outputs resemble the image seen here or does a robotic voice whistle or say “what a woman!”? It turns out that a lot of porn sites are poorly designed, for both the blind and those with 20/20 vision. This includes how screen readers are able to interpret them. A web site called pornfortheblind.org has people watch pornography videos and then, record audio descriptions from adult web sites. How thoughtful of them.

Ths site describes, “A screen reader is a software application that attempts to identify and interpret what is being displayed on the screen. This interpretation is then represented to the user with text-to-speech or a braille output.”
