Grzywinski+Pons Designs the Interiors of the Locke Hotel

Architecture studio Grzywinski+Pons designs the interior details of the Locke hotel at East Side Gallery located in Berlin. It is found within the Friedrichshain district and features 176 studio apartments that are equipped with kitchenettes and living spaces. The hotel design is defined by glass screen doors, natural textures that are inspired by the waterside location, and premium bespoke furniture.
Speaking about the interiors, Matt Grzywinski of Grzywinski+Pons explains to Dezeen that he was looking for "the look and feel to be expressive and aspirational, but also comfortable and even quietly nurturing. I wanted to see if it could be exciting and calming all at once. The Spree is a pretty placid river, and the light reflecting off of its gently textured surface is a major component of the views from the hotel."
