The LM Box might seem like a pared down light box, but it does more than provide illumination. At least, the type that glows. It also doubles as an inspiration board so that people can use it for more intellectual illumination. Or, of course, the LM Box can be used purely for fun.

Designed by Ane Domaas and Kathrine Høgh, a creative duo who met at the Product Design program at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences and recently launched Domaas/Høgh, the LM Box falls into their pension for creating modest, everyday products with a hint of humor. The wooden frame not only houses the white panels, embedded in them are magnets so that people can stick keys, notes and more to the side of it. The LM Box can also be written on.
