As much as architects are trying to create revolutionary eco-friendly structures, they often fall short of the mark, yet the Live Work Home is a design that can stand the test of time. Unlike other environmentally conscious creations, this residence does not rely on green trappings such as solar panels and low-flush toilets (all things that eventually get replaced anyhow). Instead, the Live Work Home boasts a unique floor plan that allows it to adapt to just about any scenario.

Designed by Cook + Fox Architects, the Live Work Home does feature traditional eco-friendly features. In addition, however, it has sliding doors and mobile partitions that can be re-arranged to accommodate various family sizes, generational needs and even functions.
