Available for Windows 7 models and above, Skype's live translation service is a helpful solution to those who wish to converse with family and friends who don't speak the same language as them, or at least not a fluently.

So far, its online live translations are available in eight different languages -- which can be used for voice calls. In addition to this, those wishing to chat through instant messages can find over 50 different languages available.

Currently, the online live translations include English, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin and most recently, Russian. In order to use it, one simply needs to use their headphones and speak as clearly as possibly so that their words can be picked up and adapted.
