American architecture studio Far + Dang showcases its new Linear Cabin in the Woods which is made to accommodate multiple families. The cabin is defined by the black metal structure which helps make the building elongated and appear to be blending into the natural surroundings. It is located on forested grounds in Broken Bow, which is a town on the Southeastern side of Oklahoma by the Kiamichi Mountains.
It is made for three families as a nature retreat for relaxation. The studio is based in Dallas and it explains the design concept, stating "The design strategy was to create communal spaces that activate social occasion and promote transparency between the interiors and the outdoors, while the more private resting spaces become secluded retreats of their own."
