In an interview with “Extra” that will air tonight, Dr. Drew Pinsky discusses how celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Nicole Richie possess narcissistic and addictive personalities that contribute to their mental instability. Dr. Drew Pinsky’s covered this very topic quite extensively, as he and S. Mark Young have published a book called “The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism Is Seducing America.” In it, Dr. Pinsky refers to the way that the media enables the bad behavior of at-risk starlets like Lindsay Lohan. In the clip above, check out a preview for tonight’s interview. We’ll put up the “Extra” clip from tonight’s airing—in which Dr. Drew specifically calls Lindsay Lohan out as a high-risk narcissist and hails Nicole Richie’s motherhood as an inspirational story—as soon as it becomes available.  Dr. Pinksy tells “Extra,” “Narcissists in reality want to think they’re great and grandiose when in fact inside they feel very empty and small.”
Not afraid to name names of today’s hottest starlets, Dr. Pinsky says, “I think Lindsay is one of my peeps. She’s a straight up addict.”
He continues, “I’ve been saying for awhile she’s going to have a major blow out. Major torch out before she becomes motivated to capitulate treatment.
