At the NAB broadcast conference the Lightship Group revealed their A-170 Lightsign Airship. Instead of the “Goodyear” logo, the blimp displayed a LED screen that measured 30 by 70 feet. It can broadcast live TV events or slide shows. The only downside is it can only display one colour during the day for visibility reasons. Lightship is still researching if there is a market for these airships.

Implications - With contemporary society moving at such a fast-paced rate, it becomes difficult for companies to convey their message to consumers. Businesses must think of alternative ways to advertise and promote certain products, and non-conventional locations are only one aspect to consider. Stats for Lightsign Airship Trending: Older & Mild
