Taiwan Nanhua University student Li Yi-Kai creates these lifelike and stunning sculptures out of fallen leaves. The artist is a student of the university's Institute of Environmental Art and Design. After walking around his campus, Li Yi-Kai began collecting leaves and other greenery and constructed his first dragon that later became the terrifying lizard Godzilla.
Though they appear super complex, the artist's lifelike creations are described as “pretty easy to make.” In addition to Godzilla, he is also set to develop the lizard's three-headed rival King Ghidorah.
60 years after its first silver screen appearance, the cult classic returns to theatres and opens tomorrow. With its latest theatre release starring Elisabeth Olsen and Brian Cranston, Godzilla is said to draw in massive box office sales.
