Lounge of Layers by Katrin Greiling is Made for a Fairy Tale Princess

People can see if their have royal blood when this layered seating. Officially dubbed Lounge of Layers, it is made up of long and thin cushions that resemble the sky-high bed one of Hans Christian Andersen's princesses had to sleep on because her delicate frame. No matter how many mattresses she used, she could still feel the pea at the very bottom.

Perhaps people will be able to reenact this famous fable with the layered seating themselves. Designed by Katrin Greiling for Droog, the layered seating is nevertheless much more modern than what people would have associated with the fairy tale. It is made up of sleek and simple pieces that boast a few bright colors. It is even modular so as to suit any need or situation.
