Old style electric lawn mowers just didn’t cut it - literally. No more. The revolutionary Remington PowerMower, uses a brand new technology to keep the power flowing from motor to blade. The power rivals that of a gas powered engine. Even mowing the “two-week-vacation” grass isn’t a problem anymore. Remington designed the mower to appeal to women homeowners and baby boomers with average size lawns. The mower eliminates noise pollution as well as carbon pollution.
Lawn and garden products are heavily gas oriented, Servais said, but demographics are leaning to more electric use, whether it’s aging baby boomers who don’t want to pull starter cords or the growing number of single female heads of household. “They don’t want to be pandered to with cutesy tools that won’t do the job. They want something lightweight, but they want something that’s going to do the job, and electric and battery fits those molds,” Servais said.
