Swedish architect Andreas Martin-Löf created the Landet series, which is comprised of contemporary cabins for the upcoming hotel brand. Landet is a new angle of hospitality, where the natural environment is the main focus. The sustainable design is in a reserve by Trosa, which is one of the most captivating archipelagos outside of Stockholm.
This creates an eco-friendly holiday away from the city, which is still very much accessible by train. The cabins are about 430 square feet. Andreas Martin-Löf worked closely with the Husverkey construction team to ensure that the building process had minimal disruption to the site. Martin-Löf notes, “I learned that it is possible to refine this type of building to a much higher level than we have done in previous projects and that we could protect the surroundings better by working elsewhere."
