ASICS and BEAMS Deliver a Special New GEL-Kayano Sneaker

Japanese retail label BEAMS works together with ASICS once again to give the signature GEL-Kayano sneaker model a new update. This time around, the shoe highlights what is known as 'Kaya' which is the Japanese word for mosquito nets and with the addition of "no" makes up the Kayano word.
This was how the silhouette was chosen for the new technical sneaker model. The shoe sees an additional mosquito net on top of the shoe as it snaps around the toe box section of the shoe. When it is attached, there are the Fidlock straps and pull-tab enclosure to keep the net enclosed around the foot. The shoe is set to drop later this year in October.
