The KANTON at-home film developing kit is a photography tool that can save amateur aesthetes a ton of money on film developing.

Though digital video and pictures have eclipsed film, the traditional medium still offers a texture, granularity, and depth that digital can't capture. But the infrastructure for film, from buying stock to developing film to getting prints, has receded with the rise of video, making a film a niche (and thus expensive) medium.

Rather than traveling halfway across the city to spend a fortune on getting film developed, the KANTON system lets film photographers develop their negatives on their own time, without the need for a dark room. KANTON uses chemical heating, automated film agitation and an enclosed capsule to achieve reliable film development.
