I don't think I've ever seen quite a cup like the Kami mug cup. Made entirely out of wood, it is stunningly minimalist due to its natural roots.

The hand-carved Kami mug cup was made at Hidetoshi Takahashi's woodworking factory in Asahikawa, Japan. He has been creating contemporary tableware using traditional techniques for years.
