Joe Freshgoods works in collaboration with New Balance to launch a new set of joint designs in the form of shorts and a pair of the iconic 650 sneaker model. The shoes are made in the classic high-top silhouette in a clean white tonal palette for minimal design language. It has creamy tones as the accents and there are notably only 500 units created for an exclusive launch. Every single pair is numbered by hand for a unique touch.
Dubbed the 'Stuntman,' the designer notes in the Instagram caption, "A few years ago, while going through old magazines for reference material, I stumbled upon a photograph of someone “Special” wearing a pair of NB’s in a photoshoot. And I simply thought to myself, "What if the story was different“? Like. On some comic book shit. Switch the story up a little ya know. Merged a little history, imagination, a few easter eggs, different materials, and special packaging for this one, Much I can’t talk about lol."
