Jessica Alba decided to promote the idea of shark conservation last week in Oklahoma City by plastering posters of sharks everywhere.

The posters are simple images of sharks. No text, just sharks. She and shark conservationist White Mike did the stunt together. The only problem is that they plastered one of their shark posters over a United Way billboard. Woops.

Check out some of the shark poster work done in cities across the U.S.

Implications - Consumers are fascinated by celebrities because they act as benchmarks for success in first world societies. Corporations may potentially generate lots of revenue if they can satiate consumer desire to be celebrities through goods and services.
