Japanese Prime Minister, Taro Aso, recently met with Pope Benedict XVI and presented him with a Sony camcorder that was served on a silver platter.

Prime Minister Aso was meeting with the Pope at the Vatican to discuss the current global economic crisis and decided to give him a gift that represents Japanese technology.

Implications - If it were me getting an awesome Sony video camera, I'd certainly be super pumped! Leave it to Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso to be on the cutting-edge of modern technology, and always super generous!
