This ‘Spike Light’ by James Clar looks like a giant medieval weapon, but it’s actually a piece of indoor sculptural lighting.

The ‘Spike Light’ is James Clar’s take on the outdoor lamps that are driven into the ground at the base of a tree to serve as an uplight. Its panes remind me, bizarrely enough, of a cross between a mace and a paper lantern.
