Mizrahi opened the show with two stunning floral dresses -- one evening and one cocktail -- that were an identical pattern to the wall the models were standing in front of, creating an incredible effect.
The Isaac Mizrahi Spring 2012 collection was presented to editors during a private appointment, similar to what Givenchy also did last year, because the collection was so impressively couture-like that the designer explained he didn't feel the need to present it on the runway, since it was not meant for mass audiences. "You know, it's just a little besides the point for my business right now," Isaac Mizrahi told Style.com.
As for the rest of the collection, it was feminine and flirty, and perfect for spring.
