The Magicmirror adds some major technology to the fitting room. The process of trying on clothes will be forever changed with the senor-laden device that recognizing the items you bring into the room. Need a different size? The MagicMirror pulls up the entire store’s inventory, including additional sizes and colours, and alerts a salesperson of your alternate requirements.
Clothes in the store have embedded RFID transponders in the tags to recognize each piece. It also sends targeted ads or “promotional graphics” while you try items on.

Sounds helpful, right? But while the mirror is giving you information, it's taking your stats as well. The mirror remembers all the items you've tried on, and then keeps track of what you actually purchase. Will it start locking out those perpetual shoppers who always try on clothes but never buy anything? Magicmirror's sensors are also helpful in preventing theft: if you bring a pile of expensive goods into the dressing room, the mirror alerts sales staff.
The high tech mirrors are designed to get kids off of the Internet and into real stores to shop. It's invasive enough, however, that we can imagine it having the opposite effect and inducing more old fashioned types to choose clothes online
