The Inflatable Furniture by Philipp Beisheim is exactly what it sounds like. It is a series of furniture that require inflating in order to be used. This inflation is can be achieved through the use of a basic hand pump, almost as though a person would simply inflating the tire of their bike. Although not necessarily an original concept, the designs are quite unique.

Comprised of a side table and stool so far, the Inflatable Furniture by Philipp Beisheim is perfect for homes that require added surfaces and seats in a pinch. Made out of a highly durable neoprene polyester fabric called Hypalon, the pieces are quite long-lasting. The South African designer states, "They provide longevity as a reaction to consumption placing it into a contemporary context by giving long term satisfaction."
